Directory of:
Schools & Associations
Welcome to Ohana Kenpo, our Kenpo Family.
The Hawaiian term for "Family" is "Ohana". The Kenpo Journal has a purpose that, to me, is just as important as sharing Kenpo knowledge and that is bringing and keeping our Kenpo Family together.
I offer no guarantees that all the schools and associations in the Kenpo Journal Directory are teaching the "Ed Parker System of Kenpo". Some of the schools are, while other schools may not know Ed Parker's Kenpo if it kicked them in the crotch.
I also know that some of the schools listed in the directory want to teach Ed Parker's Kenpo, but they themselves are still a product of their previous training. Their inclusion and acceptance, as part of our family, is a way of offering our assistance and support to these schools.
Primarily, the schools listed in the directory have publicly stated that they do, in fact, teach the Ed Parker System. But it is still the responsibility of each student to make their own determination as to the quality of any given school.
